Thorung La (17769'/5416m) - The pass over the mountains. This picture was taken within a couple of hundred meters of exiting an incredible blizzard that hit just as Brian and I were entering the pass. We both thought we were going to die. Couldn't see 3' in front of us. Couldn't see the trail. Nothing but luck that we stumbled out and down. |
